This course explores the pharmacology, public health impact, and regulatory landscape of commonly misused substances, including opioids, stimulants, hallucinogens, cannabinoids, and CNS depressants. Through expert-led lectures and interactive discussions, students will examine the mechanisms of action, clinical effects, and sociocultural dimensions of substances such as alcohol, methamphetamine, psilocybin, and synthetic cannabinoids.

This is a 2 credit elective open to all students.  Course meets Tuesday from 1-2:50pm each week during both blocks of the semester.  Meets in COP B-15
