In this fourth segment of the Foundations of Family Service Coordination, participants will learn about the early childhood transition process including transition planning, the transition conference, and the initial comprehensive evaluation for Part B services. This segment is the REQUIRED prerequisite to attending the fourth interactive session of FSC training.

Course Length is approximately 2 hours to complete all 6 modules.

In this third segment of the Foundations of Family Service Coordination, participants will learn about monitoring of the IFSP and ensuring that families are receiving the appropriate services, six-month reviews, annual IFSP meetings, and the basics of documentation and billing. This segment is the REQUIRED prerequisite to attending the third interactive session of FSC training.

Course Length is approximately 70 minutes to complete all 3 modules.

In this second segment of the Foundations of Family Service Coordination, participants will learn about the first steps in the family’s journey through early intervention from referral through the development of the initial IFSP. This segment is the REQUIRED prerequisite to attending the first interactive session of FSC training.

Course Length is approximately 3.5 hours to complete all 9 modules.

Counseling CEUs: 3.5

In this first segment of the Foundations of Family Service Coordination, participants will learn about early intervention in New Mexico and the role of the Family Service Coordinator and begin to explore concepts important for working with families. This segment is the REQUIRED prerequisite to attending the first interactive session of FSC training.
