Start providers in:

• Identifying facts and myths about Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID)/Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
• Understanding current information about SUID risk factors
• Defining actions that families and caregivers can take to reduce SUID risk
• Understanding the procedure for requesting, storing, and distributing the New Mexico Home Visiting Safe Sleep Kits.
